Opera singer Andrea Bocelli, along with producer Bob Ezrin and Matteo Bocelli, joined Grammy Museum artistic director Scott Goldman in the Clive Davis Theatre for a special Q&A session just before performing two sold out shows at the Hollywood Bowl the following nights.
Bocelli and Ezrin spoke throughout the first part of the Q&A to discuss Bocelli’s latest release Si. This album, which was produced by Ezrin, features duets from Bocelli with Ed Sheeran, Dua Lipa and Josh Groban. Bocelli and Ezrin discussed how it was to work with each artist. Bocelli spoke English for most of the Q&A, but had a translator on hand to assist him. Later in the interview, his son Matteo joined in the conversation. He also happens to be an incredible singer himself. Along with this, Bocelli’s wife Veronica Berti joined to discuss their philanthropic work. Once the Q&A ended, Bocelli performed one song with a classical guitar.
