Da Texas Terror's "Make Rap Great Again" seems to be an attempt to flex rap speed and skill with quickly-spit bars over an aggressive trap beat. Unfortunately, DTT's enunciation and creativity fell slightly short of the mark. We found ourselves circling back multiple times to try to make out unclear phrases and eventually lost interest in repetitive flows, which was disappointing juxtaposed against his tight, catchy vocal delivery. What DTT lacks in rapping skills is made up for by the production and style of his music. His place in the genre is clearly carved out and the musical pieces are in place for DTT to make some real hitters. He could go a long way by switching up the flows and working on word enunciation.
