Maxwell

Maxwell at Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles, CA

R&B singer/songwriter Maxwell landed in the city of angels on his 50 Intimate Nights Live tour with the talented Marsha Ambrosius from Floetry as his opening act. After laying low for a bit, so that she could start and raise her family, Marsha decided to jump back into the R&B scene and tour dropping new music for her fans to embrace. She performed new songs like "Luh Ya" to "Old Times" to classics like "Butterflies" to "Late Night Early Morning" to "Say Yes" to "Hope She Cheats On You" all while performing in a dazzling, sparkling custom blue dress.

Maxwell then later hit the stage, walking out of what appeared to be a moon to then serenading the crowd with classic to newer material. Anyone familiar with the music of Maxwell knows it’s nearly impossible not to be drawn in by his soulful, smooth, melodic voice. Backed by his stellar band, Max sang songs like "Fortunate" to "This Woman's Work" to "Ascension" to newer hits like "Shame" to "We Never Saw It Coming." He just released his BlackSummer'sNIGHT which is a completion of a trilogy that began in 2009.

Overall, Marsha and Maxwell brought the house down. The environment was relaxed, soulful and groovy the entire time. Maxwell is one of the best R&B singers of our day and his performance helps solidify his position as such.
