Rising star Liza Anne performed at LA’s Teragram Ballroom this past Saturday night. Sharing the stage with headliner Lucy Dacus and fellow opener, Sun June, Anne was greeted with thunderous applause. Exhibiting the stage presence of a seasoned artist, Anne had command of her audience from the opening song. Equally impressive was her ability to create an intimate setting for the hundreds of fans that hung on every note. The sold-out crowd was treated to an impressive 40 minute set of selections off her latest album, Fine But Dying, as well as soon to be released material. Based on tonight’s performance, you are going to be hearing from Liza Anne for years to come.
Born and raised in Georgia, Anne, who has since relocated to Nashville, Tennessee, embarked on her music career in 2010. She released her debut album, The Colder Months ( 2014), followed by her follow up album, Two (2015). Anne released her critically acclaimed breakthrough album, Fine But Dying in 2018, featuring the singles, “Devotion” and “Paranoia”, which she performed on Conan last year.
