Music Academy

Registration Open for Kruger Brothers Music Academy

Registration is now open for the Kruger Brothers Music Academy, an intensive and inspiring educational weekend for banjo, guitar and bass players of all levels, beginner to advanced. Now in its fifth year, this exclusive event offers master class instruction by the internationally renowned Kruger Brothers.

The annual weekend event—May 5 – May 8—is an opportunity for attendees to immerse themselves in musical discussion, instruction and collaboration in a workshop environment. The Academy outgrew its previous location, and the 2016 event will be held at the Wilkesboro Holiday Inn Express in North Carolina. The convenient location allows the opportunity for longer jam sessions and interaction among one another and with the Kruger Brothers.

With its focus on banjo, guitar and bass, the academy allows registrants to select their instructor at the time of registration: Jens (banjo), Uwe (guitar) and Joel (bass). Although they treasure entertaining and uplifting audiences on tour, the Kruger Brothers agree that sharing the academy experience with acoustic musicians is a highlight of their year.

The Academy highlights the music of the Kruger Brothers and their abilities as caring teachers and mentors. The camp offers classes focuses on technique and theory, plus a variety of activities, meals and late night jam sessions with Jens, Uwe and Joel. The Kruger Brothers Music Academy is designed primarily for adult participants. Attendance is limited.
