Kobalt Signs Elvis Presley Catalogue

Kobalt, the independent music services company, has signed an administrative agreement with Authentic Brands Group (ABG) and Elvis Presley Enterprises, LLC. Effective Jan. 1, 2017, Kobalt will administer and provide publishing services for a vast majority of the Elvis Presley catalogue of more than 1,000 songs including classics such as "All Shook Up," "Jailhouse Rock," "A Little Less Conversation," "Return to Sender," "Can't Help Falling in Love" and many others. Some tracks for film and TV trailers, soundtracks and commercials are part this iconic catalogue.

The music of Elvis Presley continues to resonate with today’s audiences around the globe. Music from the catalogue is most recently featured in worldwide blockbusters like Bad Santa 2, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows and Joy. “Love Me Tender” is the soundtrack for Ralph Lauren’s current fragrance campaign. In October 2016, Elvis Presley with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra released, The Wonder of You, becoming the record breaking 13th No. 1 album by a solo artist in the U.K.
