K92.3 All Star Jam In Orlando, FL

K92.3, Orlando's #1 station for new country, is celebrating 25 years of the All Star Jam by bringing you two All Star Jams in 2020!  Having featured a number of artists before they were so famous, K92.3 has supported Taylor Swift, Blake Shelton, Luke Bryan and many more.  They kicked everything off on January 19th at the Addition Financial Arena in Orlando, Florida featuring musical performances by Runaway June, Chris Lane, Brett Young and headiner, Lady Antebellum.  Fans of every artist arrived early, eager to take their seat in the arena located on campus at the University of Central Florida.  Families, couples and fans riding solo sported their band t-shirts, cowboy hats, cowboy boots and fringe.

Runaway June (comprised of Naomi Cooke, Hannah Mulholland, and Jennifer Wayne) took the stage and awed the arena with their flawless and stunning harmonies.  Performing songs such as "Lipstick", "Buy My Own Drinks" and "Wild West" the all female group absolutely nailed their set.  Jennifer Wayne shared with us that "Wild West" is a tribute to her grandfather, John Wayne.  What a beautiful way to celebrate and remember the famous western star.  Runway June opened for Carrie Underwood in 2019 on the Cry Pretty Tour and this year they will be hitting the road on select dates with Luke Bryan!  Be sure to follow the girls on all socials to keep up with news and events!

A single stool and acoustic guitar was perched behind one microphone, center stage as Chris Lane came out to continue the evening.  Humorous and charming, Chris takes a seat finishing off a bag of Lays potato chips.  Opening with "Fix", released in 2015,  the crowd cheered at the start of his set.  Continuing with a cover of of Mario's "Let Me Love You," the venue took part in a huge 90's sing along.  Chris pulled an excited fan on stage during, "Take Back Home Girl" to help him finish the song.  He even offered her the rest of his tequila when she was too nervous to remember the lyrics!  If you love Chris and want to catch him in concert he is about to head out on the first half of Kane Brown's The Worldwide Beautiful Tour!  Check out the dates and grab a ticket to a city near you.

Who doesn't love Brett Young?  From hits such as, "Mercy", "Like I Loved You", "Incase You Didn't Know", and "Catch" these are just a few of the songs the crowd was treated to at the K92.3 All Star Jam.  Everyone was so incredibly pumped for Young's twelve song set and it seemed that everyone knew every word to every song.  The audience was thrilled to sing along to his cover of Gavin DeGraw's "Not Over You".  Having previously toured with Luke Bryan, Thomas Rhett and Lady Antebellum, Young has a number of tour dates coming up this year including the We Back Tour with Jason Aldean and Mitchell Tenpenny.

Lady Antebellum finally hits the stage as our headliner for the evening.  The arena stood and roared as Hillary Scott, Charles Kelley, and Dave Haywood found their places.  Kicking their set off with a throwback, long time fans danced and sang to, "I Run To You" released in 2008.  The award winning trio also performed many other popular songs including, "Just A Kiss", "You Look Good" and "American Honey".  My absolute favorite part of the night was when they sang "What If I Never Get Over You", from their new album, Ocean.  Ocean, as Scott explained to us, is their most personal album yet and also brings us back to that original sound the band debuted with.  They also mentioned that K92.3 has been one of their biggest supporters in country radio throughout their career, as they have been to so many other artists as well.  Lady Antebellum will be embarking on their Ocean 2020 Tour in May bringing along guests Jake Owen and Maddie & Tae.  You do not want to miss this event as the whole lineup is just simply amazing!
