Techno artist AD7USTMENT says that his history with music is a long and exciting journey.
"[It started] back in 1988 and [was] influenced by both my home in Germany and my mother’s sunkissed origin in Petín, Spain," he says. "Learning to play the drums as a kid laid my rhythmic foundation, but it was during the Spanish summers that I first encountered techno. After my first event with Ricardo Villalobos, my soul was forever lost in the music—my electronic path became clear and wide open. I was set on fire by the unbelievable energy on the dancefloor, seeing hundreds of people moving as one, falling into a collective trance of pure joy and tolerance."
"It was this pure focus on the moment—no phones, just hypnotic techno and genuine connection—that resonated with me so deeply," he continues. "My heart absolutely loves this vibe. It became my greatest dream to be a part of this and contribute my own sound to that power. Upon returning to Germany, I discovered my neighbor—who would become my best friend—spinning records in his basement. I went over that very night, and we decided to start producing. After years of performing under a different name, I eventually reached a point of disconnect. It took a complete restart to find my true self. The project became "serious" in its purest sense when I stopped chasing commercial success and rediscovered my passion through a profound soul-connection with Indira Paganotto. Her belief in me sparked the birth of AD7USTMENT—a project where I now only create what I feel 100%."
AD7USTMENT describes his sound as, "a high-energy 'rollercoaster' designed to awaken your 'rave DNA.' It is a blend of pumping drums and innovative percussion, but with a deep, narrative soul. My music has evolved into a medium for total presence; it is about being free from the past and the future. It is an energetic broadcast of power and groove, balancing moments of ecstatic intensity with a message of being fully in the 'now.'"
His latest release is the Free From Past And Future EP. "I have just released on ARTCORE, a project that is a deeply personal journey. Indira Paganotto has carefully selected these tracks. Is tell a cohesive story—one that transitions from 'Biology to Being.' The album explores the biological drivers of human functioning and leads to the profound realization of total freedom. This music is 100% exclusive to Indira and her label. A major milestone for this new chapter will be my first-ever gig at Hï Ibiza on August 23rd, debuting the AD7USTMENT sound at what is officially the best club in the world."
As for gear: "In the studio, I focus on a hybrid workflow to achieve a high-end, organic sound. While Ableton is my primary DAW, the soul of my tracks comes from analog hardware. I work extensively with the Moog Sub 37, the Dave Smith Pro 2, and the Elektron Analog Rytm etc. To ensure the highest sound quality, I utilize UAD cards and their various plugins to achieve a professional, polished finish. This setup is essential for creating the innovative percussion and atmospheric "outer space" sounds that define my style."
Looking ahead, AD7USTMENT has plenty planned for the second half of 2026. "The coming months are entirely dedicated to this new chapter. My focus is on the album launch and upcoming performances alongside Indira. This is more than just a schedule; it is a life-changing event representing total presence and a true restart. I am looking forward to broadcasting this unmistakable vibe and a journey with the global dancefloor, starting with my debut in Ibiza."
