Ghostwriter Music Hires Tim Hare as Senior Director of Synch

Ghostwriter Music — the leading production, publishing and sound design company — has announced the hiring of Tim Hare as the organization’s Senior Director of Synch. In his role, Hare will lead Ghostwriter Music’s synch department for advertising and television. In addition, he will have heavy involvement working in tandem with internal A&R staff to develop the company’s catalog and artist series, as well maintaining a strong focus on business development for the entire company.

"Tim was brought in to focus on expanding and promoting the Ghostwriter catalog with a focus on TV/Advertising/Trailers,” says Chris Bragg, the Founder/CEO of Ghostwriter. “His business development acumen and experience in production music make him a valuable asset to the Ghostwriter family. We've often talked about working together someday and finally, we made it happen."

A Magna Cum Laude graduate from the Berklee College Of Music in 2011, Hare has worked in the music industry on the creative side as a musician/composer and on the business side for a combined 20 years. Before joining up with his good friends at Ghostwriter, he grew to VP of Business Development for Alibi Music Library and prior to that worked for Extreme and Sonic Librarian. Hare has also worked in tour production and artist management for Foreigner, Wiz Khalifa, Mac Miller, Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers and The Smashing Pumpkins. In 2015 Tim transitioned to working in Production Music on the Business Development and Synch side while composing many tracks for Sonic Librarian, Megatrax, Flavorlab, and Alibi Music.

With key film studio clients including MarvelDisneySonyParamount20th Century StudiosWarner Bros. and Universal Pictures, among others, Ghostwriter Music is the leading music content provider and publisher in trailer music.

Adding to their Los Angeles presence, the company's growth now lends itself to last year’s opening of their  second office and staff in Nashville, TN. The new middle-Tennessee office contains a mix stage and full post-production capabilities with the company’s founder/CEO Chris Bragg and COO Travis Michaud spearheading the new location. The Nashville location will concentrate on catalog growth and new artist development while the Los Angeles location— managed by Bryan Nguyen, Partner and Director, Creative Synch, and Paige Mount, Producer and Synch Manager—remains focused on custom music production.

"I am beyond grateful for the growth we’ve experienced since Ghostwriter was founded in 2015,” says Founder and CEO Chris Bragg. “We’ve built an amazing team over the past seven years with some of the hardest working people in the industry and I’m so excited for our future!"
