Back in 1989 when Scottish band Teenage Fanclub formed, they were considered a part of the vibrant and lively British indie scene, often performing on bills and festival lineups with the likes of Kingmaker, The Wonder Stuff, and Ned’s Atomic Dustbin. Do Not Dare to Dream is their 13th studio album and, well out of their teens, it displays a warmth and maturity that quite honestly was always there.

“Tomorrow People” sounds like it was born in Laurel Canyon, and the whole album is blessed with equally attractive melodies, harmonies, and sweet little curveballs.
