Country Radio Seminar Gearing Up for February 2017

The Country Radio Seminar 2017 agenda is coming together and is packed with educational presentations, networking opportunities, performances, informative panels and more. With the three-day event approaching, Country Radio Seminar officials are starting to release agenda details, starting with the announcement of three panels: Victory in the Hallways: Creating a Positive Work Culture; Embracing the Data to Predict Hits; and Coaching the Coaches: Top Talent Tell How to Motivate them Best. All three panels support the organization’s mission to educate and motivate.

Victory in the Hallways: Creating a Positive Work Culture
Scheduled for Feb. 23, 2017 from 2:30 p.m. - 3:20 p.m., this panel will spotlight market managers and leaders outside of radio. Together, they will offer tips and examples on how to create positive and impactful moments that lend a positive team spirit and good company culture. Confirmed panelists are Scott Bernard (Rite-Aid), Debbie Kenyon (CBS) and Sean Shannon (Cumulus).

Embracing the Data to Predict Hits
Scheduled for Friday, Feb. 24, at 9:30 a.m. - 10:20 a.m., this will review platforms like Shazam, Sirius XM and Spotify along with the information they provide, and how to determine if these songs are making an impact on an artist or their record. Confirmed panelists are Steve Blatter (Sirius XM), Jeff Green (Stone Door Media Lab), John Zarling (BMLG) and more to be announced.

Coaching the Coaches: Top Talent Tell How to Motivate them Best
Scheduled for Feb. 24 at 2:00 p.m. - 2:50 p.m., will feature talent discussing what motivates them best; real stories, from real talent, with real results. Confirmed panelists are Kirk Herbstreit (ESPN/ABC) and Robin Meade (HLN’s Morning Express with Robin Meade), with more to be added.

Talent lineups and more agenda specifics will be released leading up to the event.

Country Radio Seminar will be held Wednesday, Feb. 22, through Friday, Feb. 24, at the luxurious Omni Nashville, in the heart of downtown Nashville, TN.
