A Los Angeles-based independent production company is seeking a composer and music to license for a feature-length comedy horror film. The film is loosely described as a spoof on Cujo, only with killer house cats that terrorize the suburbs. Two well-known actors are associated with this film.
Given the hilarious and ridiculously silly nature of the film, mostly quirky, comedic music is needed, but "typical horror flick" cues are also needed. Some horror music can also be over-the-top and quirky.
The director is open to instrumental and vocal tracks.
Composers and musicians from all geographical areas will be considered.
Compensation: Negotiable (low budget); Additional fees may be negotiated in the event of a distribution deal or if other commercial opportunities are presented for the film.
Deadline: Sept. 30, 2019, unless selected before this date and the job is closed early.
