Full Compass Systems has announced that Chris Tso will be joining the company as Vice President of Merchandising. In his new role, Chris will help develop the strategic merchandising direction of Full Compass across catalog, Internet, retail, and wholesale distribution channels. In this capacity, Chris will also be directly responsible for vendor collaboration, trend forecasting and market opportunity identification, new product and brand development, product assortment, planning and pricing, top-line sale growth strategy, and point-of-sale execution.

Tso joins Full Compass with a long career in the e-commerce and direct marketing side of the professional audio and music industry. He previously worked as a consultant for Marshall Electronics as Director of E-Commerce and Creative Sales/Marketing, after managing Amazon's Automotive business for Canada. Mr. Tso also has 14 years worth of experience with Musician's Friend/Guitar Center as Director and then Vice President of Merchandising in the technology, musical instrument, and proprietary product segment. Earlier in his career, he worked for Dale Pro Audio/Dale Electronics, Sam Ash Music, and Manny's Music in New York City. He brings with him to Full Compass Systems the experience and deep knowledge of MI/pro audio product and merchandising gathered throughout these years.
A New York native, Mr. Tso has spent the last 17 years on the West Coast. In addition to his professional experience, Mr. Tso is also an accomplished musician, composer, and audio engineer. He has performed in more than 2,000 public shows with compositions licensed to Discovery Communications and NASCAR. He's also shared stages with Black Sabbath, Pat Benatar, Marshall Tucker, and many others. Mr. Tso will report directly to Full Compass Systems' CEO Craig Johnson.
