BMG Brazil Signs Global Partnership with Ego Kill Talent

Emerging Brazilian rock group Ego Kill Talent has signed a global recordings partnership with BMG to release their forthcoming new studio album. Recently performing for their second time at the Rock In Rio music festival, the band is currently putting the finishing touches on their second album, and first with BMG, recorded at the Foo Fighter’s famed 606 Studios. Their signing marks the first international recordings deal with a Brazilian artist, signed out of the recently founded BMG Brazil, to be distributed and marketed on a global scale within BMG.

The group’s upcoming new album is the follow-up to their 2017 self-titled debut which became a Top 50 Viral Spotify release in the UK, France, Portugal and Brazil while receiving playlisting placement in the US, Canada, France, Mexico, UK, Portugal and Spain, racking up over 20 million plays on streaming platforms. The band will be supporting Metallica on their Brazilian tour in April and will be making their US debut at several key festivals in May. In addition, they will be supporting System of a Down in Europe on select dates in 2020.

Formed by, Jonathan Dörr (vocals), Jean Dolabella (drums and guitars), Raphael Miranda (drums, bass), Niper Boaventura (guitar, bass), and Theo Van Der Loo (bass, guitars), Ego Kill Talent (an abbreviation of the saying “too much ego will kill your talent”) have supported the Foo Fighters, Queens of the Stone Age, Shinedown, Within Temptation, System Of A Down, toured throughout South America and Europe performing at premier festivals including Download Festival Paris, Download Festival Madrid, Nova Rock, Rock In Rio (twice), Planeta Altantida, Santiago Gets Louder (Chile), Rock Am Ring, Rock Im Park, Graspop Metal Meeting, and many more.
