Brooklyn DJ, producer and multimedia artist :Kitty Ca$h told us about her Kokoroko experience.
:Kitty Ca$h: I caught Kokoroko at The Regent Theater totally last minute, my hairstylist mentioned a jazz band from London, and I immediately knew it had to be them. It ended up being one of those nights that fills your entire soul.
The sing-alongs, the dance breaks, the way everyone moved together…it felt like church for the groove. When Sheila plays that flugelhorn, it’s like being transported to an oasis of peace and lush gardens. I’m humming “Sweetie, make my heartbeat bounce” as I write this.
