Steve Aoki Launches Sound X Vision Auction House with Rare Icons

Global music producer, fashion designer, entrepreneur, and Dim Mak Records founder Steve Aoki has a new venture: Sound X Vision (SXV), which aims to reshape how pop culture history is collected, blends authenticity, transparency, and global reach.

The company’s first auction is live online now and will conclude on September 9, 2025. Featuring over 300 artifacts from film, music, sports, and art, the sale marks a striking debut for the new house.

A statement from the company discloses that SXV was founded by Aoki “and seasoned experts in the marketplace who have together launched their debut auction.” The goal is to bring unmatched access to iconic cultural artifacts while introducing a fresh model of integrity and innovation.

Highlights from the inaugural auction include Michael Jackson’s stage-worn glove from the 1984 Victory Tour, Gal Gadot’s full Wonder Woman costume, Christian Bale’s Batman cowl from The Dark Knight, and Eddie Van Halen’s stage-played “Frankenstrat” guitar. Sports history also makes an appearance, with Muhammad Ali’s training-used speed bag from his preparations for the Rumble in the Jungle and Thrilla in Manila.

A statement from the company emphasizes the variety of offerings, ranging from “a cable-controlled Endoskeleton arm from Terminator 2: Judgment Day” to “Johnny Depp’s Scissorhands from Edward Scissorhands,” “Wolverine’s adamantium claws worn by Hugh Jackman in X2,” and even Chris Evans’ Captain America helmet. For collectors of contemporary art, the sale includes an early Banksy “Soup Can” print and a rare Stik tabletop painting.

SXV also places a strong emphasis on buyer trust. A statement from the company explains that the model is “built on radical transparency—no phantom bids, clear reserves—and rewards early bidders with reduced premiums.”

In addition to redefining the memorabilia marketplace, SXV connects the effort to Aoki’s philanthropic work. A statement from the company notes that “a portion of the proceeds of every lot sold fuels the Aoki Foundation’s mission to revolutionize brain science and regenerative medicine.”

With Aoki’s global following of more than 12 million and a lineup of rare cultural treasures, SXV is positioning itself as a major new player in the collectibles space. Full details and registration for the inaugural auction are available at auction.sxv.art.
