Indonesian R&B duo Galdive has teamed up with rising Atlanta artist Chase Shakur for a new remix of their breakout track, “Teach Me How to Love." The collaboration brings together two distinct voices in modern R&B, blending Galdive’s dreamy, ethereal sound with Chase’s rich, soulful style.
The original version of the song found major traction online, capturing the attention of global audiences across platforms. With over 10 million views and plays, 1.8 million likes, and 60+ new videos going live daily on TikTok alone, “Teach Me How to Love” quickly became a standout success. Much of that momentum was sparked by a TikTok curator who highlighted Galdive’s roots in Indonesian R&B, prompting a wave of interest and engagement.
A statement from Galdive shares, “Chase delivered exceptional artistry on this new version of ‘Teach Me How To Love’, turning it into something that feels effortlessly romantic.” The duo continues, “What begins as a love song about two people who were never meant to be evolves into something more tender, deeper, intimate, and profound. That subtle twist Chase weaves into the narrative elevates it, giving the song a world of its own.”

“I really liked the song the minute I heard it, so it was an easy yes to work with Galdive on this remix,” Chase shares. “I’m excited for the fans to hear it.”
The cover art for the remix also speaks to the collaboration’s emotional core. Created by Galdive’s Tisha, the artwork was inspired by a portrait of Chase. According to the duo, the illustration “captured Chase’s wonderful mind and vulnerability, and a perfect visualization of the emotions of this remix.”
The remix follows the release of BLUE, Galdive’s full-length LP that marked a new chapter in their artistic evolution. Introspective and sonically rich, the album draws from vintage influences and acoustic textures, offering a more vulnerable and personal take on the duo’s signature sound. “We’ve always been inspired by older music,” Galdive says. “As time passed, those sounds took on new significance.”
“Teach Me How to Love (Remix)” is available now on all major streaming platforms.
