On Tuesday, May 27, Atlantic Music Group and Avex Music Group came together to announce that they have partnered to release future music from J-pop group ONE OR EIGHT.

"The band is currently riding a global hit with their track 'DSTM,' which recently broke into Mediabase Top 40 Airplay chart, making them the first J-pop group in history to reach the important milestone," their statement reads. "This groundbreaking achievement marks a major step forward for Japanese music in the global pop arena, demonstrating the increasing demand among U.S. listeners for diverse, cross-cultural musical experiences. 'DSTM' is a true global hit outside of the U.S. as well, charting in 14 countries around the world."

"The Atlantic Records team will begin working alongside Avex Music Group to promote the band’s upcoming single '365,' which will be released on June 18," they continue. "ONE OR EIGHT is currently in the midst of a global fan meeting tour in cities around the world, including in Japan, the U.S., Brazil, Argentina and Mexico."

"ONE OR EIGHT is an all-Japanese 8-member boy group — MIZUKI, NEO, REIA, RYOTA, SOUMA, TAKERU, TSUBASA, and YUGA — who have been rapidly expanding their presence since their global debut on August 16, 2024. The group’s name, “ONE OR EIGHT,” is inspired by a Japanese idiom meaning 'All or Nothing,' embodying their bold, fearless approach to both life and music. With the tagline 'BET ON YOURSELF,' the group boldly takes on the world alongside their teammates and dreams."
