Skyler Stonestreet Sells Songwriting Catalog to Influence Media Partners

In a deal that closed at the top of 2022, Skyler Stonestreet has sold her songwriting catalog to Influence Media Partners in a multi-million dollar transaction. Stonestreet has written chart-topping hits for Justin Bieber and Ariana Grande, Dua Lipa, The Chainsmokers, Hailee Steinfeld, Marshmello, Tate McRae, Sabrina Carpenter and Lennon Stella, among others

“I am so blessed to partner with Influence on my catalogue of songs,” says Stonestreet. “Music is my life and these songs mean so much to me. It feels amazing to find a partner that truly values them.”

The sale to Influence Media Partners covers just under 80 songs, some dating back to the start of Stonestreet’s career in 2013. Her catalog boasts more than 3.5 billion streams worldwide.

“Skyler’s story is remarkable,” says longtime manager and Range Music managing partner Evan Winiker. “She came to Los Angeles with the dream of being a writer, put in the time doing sessions day in and day out, and truly became one of the best in town.”

“Skyler Stonestreet is pure gold. Not only is she one of the most gifted writers in the business with a range that rivals most, but her story is an inspiration to anyone looking to chase their dream. In short, Skyler is the type of artist that Influence is here to support, and we cannot wait to build a future together,” says Influence Media Founder and Co-Managing Partner Lylette Pizarro.

Since the sale, several new Stonestreet-written tracks have been released, none more successful than Dove Cameron’s “Boyfriend,” which was the No. 1 most-added song at pop radio in early March, and has already cracked radio Top 40 at #20 in less than three weeks.

The deal is the latest in a series of high-profile announcements by Range Media Partners, including two new film projects for Grammy-nominated rapper Jack Harlow, Justin Trantner’s executive music producer duties on the Paramount+ series “Grease: Rise of the Pink Ladies” and a major move into the NFT and Web3 space with Classick Club, a partnership with Heavy Metal and Emmy-winning filmmaker Joe Berlinger.

Additionally, Range recently announced a strategic partnership with A+E Studios, where A+E will act as co-production partner for scripted television projects at Range Media Partners, and will have a first-look deal on factual television content for A+E’s unscripted content creation unit.
