Women’s Audio Mission, a San Francisco-based nonprofit dedicated to championing women and gender-expansive people in the music and recording industry, will welcome the 14th annual WAMCon Los Angeles, a one-day industry-wide deep dive into music and audio recording with experts on and off the stage, on October 26. Taking place at The Village Studios in Sawtelle, WAMCon will provide programming spanning the multi-faceted world of audio production with practical workshops and advice from professionals in either panels or mentoring sessions. Among the featured speakers are producer Lynne Earls, GRAMMY-nominated recording artist K.Flay, the Recording Academy’s Maureen Droney and NAMM TEC Hall of Famer Leslie Ann Jones.
“WAMCon offers an unparalleled opportunity for emerging and established creatives to learn directly from the world’s leading engineers, producers, and artists,” said Terri Winston, WAM’s Founder & Executive Director, in a press release. “We are thrilled to be returning for this year’s event at The Village Studios, a venue that embodies music history and innovation.”
