GRAMMY and Emmy-winning singer, rapper and musician Lizzo has dropped banging new single and video "Don't Make Me Love U."
The song itself is an anthem with an '80s vibe. It feels like something that Pat Benatar might have put her name to back in the day, which is no bad thing.
The video sees Lizzo, in tight-fitting ballerina clothes, pleading with her past self. "The video, directed by Tanner K Williams and shot by Bentley Rawle, gives a surreal and visually striking look into a familiar relationship of grappling with your past-self, reflecting and eventually evolving through learning and growth," reads a statement. "It's as cinematic and sincere as it is satirical as told through a cerebral lens of Lizzo and Lizzy, her alter ego."
