Responsibilities for this role include: Strategize, lead, and ensure compliance with privacy laws and standards, including but not limited to GDPR and US state and federal regulations. Investigate privacy incidents and breaches, ensuring appropriate legal notifications when required, and timely and effective resolution. Lead privacy audits, assessments, and reviews across the enterprise. Manage and review third party contracts, products, and services for privacy activities, risks, and compliance. Keep abreast of evolving privacy laws and initiatives that may affect Company strategy and services at a global level and communicate effectively with key stakeholders, including c-suite and other leaders. Work hands-on with business and technology teams to support implementation of privacy risk management and compliance. Structure, draft, review, and help negotiate data protection terms in a variety of commercial agreements including master service agreements, DPAs and data provider agreements. Facilitate discussion and collaboration among product leaders and privacy stakeholders across the company. Continually improve policies, processes, and controls to ensure global consistency but with a locally relevant approach.
