Nefarious Grime: As much as I love all the records with Ozzy, Dio and Ian, there is something extra mystical and obscure about Tony Martin on the Headless Cross record.
It really stirs up something primitive inside of me, especially in conjunction with this one particular spooky riff that Tony Iommi conjures up in the title track "Headless Cross" only once never to be heard again. It left me with such wonder and want that I tend to replay it over and over again. It's a very special riff with Gothic undertones. It's definitely one of my favorites!
