OK Go, the undisputed masters of jaw-dropping, head-scratching music videos, is heading back out on tour—and if you’ve seen any of their videos, you know the concerts won’t be your average affair (don't worry, we don't mean Coldplay concert kind of affair). The GRAMMY-winning band just announced new North American dates in support of their latest album And the Adjacent Possible, kicking off September 11 in Kansas City and wrapping up December 8 in Nashville. Along the way, LA Exes will be warming up the stage as they hit venues like Denver’s Levitt Pavilion, Austin’s legendary Stubb’s BBQ, and Atlanta’s buzzy new venue The Eastern.
OK Go shows are famously fun—this is a band that’s danced on treadmills, floated in zero gravity, and built massive Rube Goldberg machines, all while making legitimately great pop songs. The band's new album, And the Adjacent Possible, is a technicolor swirl of catchy pop melodies and boundary-pushing production—proof that their creativity goes way beyond viral videos. The new track “Fantasy vs. Fantasy” got a dreamy, retro visualizer from artist PosterLad, and other recent videos feature everything from 64 synchronized phones to armies of robots and human-scale kaleidoscopes.
If you want a night of big hooks, wild visuals, and good vibes, you know what to do.
