The Bob Moog Foundation announced this week that it, "is excited to announce its fundraising raffle for a brand new Bob Moog Tribute Edition Minimoog Model D, serial number 001 of a limited run of 500, valued at $3,999. The Model D is widely regarded as one of the most iconic synthesizers of all time, and this Tribute Edition series celebrates Bob Moog’s enduring legacy and impact on electronic music. The instrument’s cabinetry is crafted from unique quartersawn white oak wood, and two back-panel logo decals of Moog Music and the Bob Moog Foundation grace the back of the synthesizer. A Minimoog SR Series travel case is included."
“The Minimoog is one of the most iconic synthesizers ever created, and having the opportunity to offer serial number 001 of this tribute edition in support of the Foundation feels especially meaningful,” Michelle Moog-Koussa, Executive Director of the Bob Moog Foundation, told MC. “Every raffle ticket purchased helps us continue preserving Bob Moog’s legacy while inspiring future generations through our educational programs, archival work, and through our very own Moogseum, located in Bob's hometown of Asheville, NC."
The foundation says that, "Raffle tickets are $25 each, $100 for 5, $200 for 12, and $500 for 35. The raffle begins Monday, May 18th at 7:00 am EST and ends 11:59 pm EST Monday, June 8th, 2026. The raffle is open internationally. All proceeds benefit the projects of the Bob Moog Foundation."
