Keni Titus: I remember being 14 years old. A freshman in high school. Completely sick to my stomach with Bieber fever. My best friend and I somehow convinced her mom to pick us up after first period and drive us to the staples center for the Justin Bieber Purpose Tour.
I think this was the first concert I had ever been to without an adult chaperoning me. It was just me and my bestie walking to our seats getting ready for the night of our lives. I remember sobbing. Like ugly crying. I had never been brought to tears by a concert at this point in my life and something about watching him dance through that water just took me out. I knew every word to every song and just remember screaming like an insane person.
Obviously in the moment I thought he’d take notice that we were the coolest girls there and he’d wanna invite us backstage after to hang out. Sadly that didn’t happen. Anyways, yes, that was my favorite concert. Shoutout Justin Bieber.
