The 8th Annual Christmas Songwriting Competition Kicks Off

This is a limited time only opportunity when songwriters can enter Christmas or Holiday songs. If you are a songwriter or co-songwriter and you have an Original Christmas Song you have written or co-written like “Last Christmas” by Wham! or “All I Want for Christmas Is You” by Mariah Carey, you may enter the Christmas/Holiday Songwriting Competition. You could be the top winner and have a special Christmas Songwriting trophy for that special place on your mantle and possible songwriting contract with a major music publishing house.

Also, the top 15 finalists’ songs will appear on the Christmas/Holiday Compilation CD, which will be promoted to various radio stations in USA and Canada. This is excellent music industry exposure for up-and-coming songwriters and music artists.

Songwriters Brett Trout and Kayley Bishop won top honors with their song "Christmissin You" in the 2022 Christmas Songwriting Competition.

Co-writer Kayley Bishop got her start while competing in Season 15 of NBC’s The Voice, Kayley is now in the works of releasing her next original project with Grammy Nominated producer, Eric Torres. She is also based in Nashville, TN. Her live cover record “Live at the Chapel”, is also now on iTunes and Spotify.

Andrew McDermid and Natalie Ramsay won the second prize with their song “Feels Like Home on Christmas Day.”

Justine Blazer, Corey Lee Barker and Shawn Sackman won the third prize with their song "Makin' Some Magic."

All three top winners have received various music publishing offers from various music publishers after their win. Also, all the top three songs were multi-way co-writes.
