"Growing up in southern California, Sublime was huge for me," Sancho's Tacos creator Donnie Lancaster explained. "I started out just making tacos for my friends until I decided to open a restaurant. The name 'Sancho's' was inspired by a lyric in the song Santeria. One day while I was working at our Huntington Beach location, Santeria came on the radio and every single person in the place sang along. People in line, the cooks, the servers - it was a surreal moment for me and to see the impact that Sublime's music has on everyone. To partner with the Sublime brand for this pop up event seemed like a no brainer for me, and I am honored to be a part of it."
