Little Angels

"I Ain't Gonna Cry"

A magnificent power ballad from British hard rockers the Little Angels. At the time of writing, we've learned that the band is reuniting for a tour across the pond. Fingers crossed that they'll make it over here.

Associate Editor Ruby Risch

The Sugarcubes

"Birthday"

Everything about this makes me feel feral, like running barefoot in a forest or something. Maybe it's Björk's angelic, animalistic wails reminding me to touch grass.

Operations Manager Robin Rose

U2

"American Obituary"

In U2 style, this song screams out for justice for those this government has illegally silenced!

Editorial Intern Cade Pinkerson

Agent Orange

"A Cry for Help in a World Gone Mad"

This nihilistic OC surf punk track takes on a slower tone than the band's usual songs, but what it lacks in speed it makes up for in angsty, melancholic sentiment about growing up, friendship, and the state of the world. Dark, almost post-punk guitars mesh with bright, fast drumming to create satisfying skate punk harmony perfect for some emotional two-stepping.

Editorial Intern Anna Jordan

Of Monsters and Men

"Mountain Sound"

There's almost nothing more addictive than Millennial Optimism.
