Sony Music Nashville is pleased to announce the signing of The Voice Season 4 finalists The Swon Brothers to its Arista Nashville roster.  Zach and Colton Swon – the brother duo from Oklahoma whose signature sibling harmony and spirited personalities solidified them as a fan favorite as part of The Voice’s Team Blake – are currently writing and securing songs for their major label debut album, with a first single due in the spring of 2014.

“Signing with Arista is literally our dream coming true,” says Colton Swon.  “My brother and I have been chasing this goal for 15 years now.  Being a part of The Voice was an unbelievable experience; there isn’t another show like it.  Our mentor and friend Blake Shelton gave us the direction and advice we needed to keep this dream alive.  We feel blessed beyond measure for the chance to continue to connect with people through our music.  Arista is the home we were looking for and we have a great team of people helping us on this journey!”

Zach Swon offers, “We are so excited to get into the studio to make new music for our fans.  It’s amazing and humbling for us to have so many fans supporting us now and asking us when we are going to have a record out.  We are looking forward to our new relationship with Sony and making some history together.”

No strangers to the stage, The Swon Brothers have been performing since they were old enough to talk.  When they were 9 and 11 years old, they asked their parents to “drop by” Nashville on the way to their Florida vacation so they could “get a record deal.”  They marched into every label on Music Row to play for anyone who would listen and continued making trips to Music City to hone their craft.

Now seasoned musicians, the brothers’ performances on The Voice included their tribute to the late George Jones with a rendition of his classic “Who’s Gonna Fill Their Shoes,” as well as Bob Seger’s “Turn the Page” and Loggins & Messina’s “Danny’s Song,” both of which landed among iTunes’ Top 10 singles leading up to the close of The Voice voting the morning following their performance, with “Danny’s Song” hitting #2 overall and #1 among iTunes’ country Top Songs.

Recently honored with the Rising Star award by the Oklahoma Music Hall of Fame, the Swons have been increasingly busy since their time on The Voice, touring steadily and making numerous appearances, including playing the halftime show at a recent Arizona Cardinals/Detroit Lions game and singing at the 2013 Warrior Open golf tournament in Dallas for an audience that included former President George W. Bush.  They also enjoyed a rare treat during a recent trip to Washington, D.C., when Rep. Markwayne Mullin (R-OK) from their home state gave them a private tour of the U.S. Capitol before their performance at the Susan G. Komen Honoring The Promise Benefit Concert the following evening.
