Music legend Frankie Valli came together with the Pacific Symphony for a special show on July 12th at the Pacific Amphitheater. The O.C. fair hosts great concerts every summer, but this was certainly one of the best. 58 years ago, the Four Seasons formed and forever changed music. Valli and the Four Seasons are members of both the Rock N Roll Hall of Fame and Vocal Group Hall of Fame. The Four seasons are also one of the biggest selling American groups of all time.
Valli with his newer Four Seasons put on a great show and played hit after hit of solo and Four Seasons singles as well as a few covers. From “Working My Way Back to You,” to “Dawn (Go Away), to “Sherry,” nearly every song was a sing-a-long. Valli closed the show with an encore of “Rag Doll,” and “Let’s Hang On.” The first time I saw Frankie Valli was in 2013 and five years later at 84, he still puts on a great show.
If you missed this show, there’s still a few more chances to see Frankie Valli around Southern California in the beginning of August.
