Reggie Watts Drops by the Legendary Les Paul Recording Studio in Hollywood

Musician, comedian, and all-around sonic wizard Reggie Watts recently paid a visit to one of music’s most sacred spaces—the Les Paul Recording Studio in Hollywood. Watts, best known as the former bandleader of The Late Late Show with James Corden, stopped by to tour the studio with producer Mark Bell and electronic artist and techno producer Chris Coe.

The studio itself is a time capsule honoring the late Les Paul, whose inventions reshaped the way the world makes and records music. Inside, visitors can see original equipment painstakingly restored—including the groundbreaking audio console where multi-track recording was born. It’s a shrine to both innovation and artistry, fitting company for someone like Watts, who’s made a career out of bending genres and expectations.
