RedGorilla Music Fest Continues The Discovery of Indie Artists

RedGorilla Music FestThe RedGorilla Music Fest will take place from Monday, March 16th to Saturday, March 21st in venues on 6th Street, right in the heart of Austin, TX. The event is free to attend and open to the general public. RedGorilla Music Fest has stuck to its original mission to promote up-and-coming independent music in all genres and help independent artists further their careers. Since the creation of this tastemaker event in 2001, major artists have graced the festival such as Imagine Dragons, Kendrick Lamar, Macklemore, Foster the People, the National, Big Krit, Feist, Talib Kweli, Cage the Elephant, Allen Stone, Andrew W.K. and hundreds more.

RedGorilla Music Fest is the premier music festival to be a part of during Austin's most significant week of the year for the music industry. Over the years, many hot up-and-coming acts have been showcased by RedGorilla Music Fest. As a result, RedGorilla Music Fest has received international media attention and a reputation for being the go-to showcase for discovering new music. Launched as a four-band showcase, the event quickly grew and was eventually branded in 2007 as the RedGorilla Music Fest. Each year since then, the festival has hosted 300-500 bands, DJs and solo artists of all genres on up to 11 different stages.
