Red Light Launches 'CTRL_MUSIC_' on Twitch

Red Light Management, the largest independent music management company in the world, and Twitch, the interactive livestreaming service, have partnered to launch CTRL_MUSIC_, a Country music channel on Twitch with live, interactive concerts by some of the genre’s biggest names.

The Country Now Live series on CTRL_MUSIC_ takes place Wednesdays at 8:00 PM Central, beginning March 17th, and touts 24 consecutive weeks of performances by some of today’s top musical artists, as well as live Q&As with artists, behind the scenes access, and complementary lifestyle exclusive content. Country Now Live is in partnership with CountryNow.com, a leading country music news and lifestyle website.

The all-live performances will take place at the Brooklyn Bowl Nashville, the newest Nashville venue, which has established itself as a standout concert venue and proven leader in utilizing state-of-the-art production capabilities along with delivering the ultimate livestreamed concert experience.

The hour-long show will include all-live performances to be captured by seven cameras throughout Brooklyn Bowl Nashville followed by an interactive Q&A from the stage, allowing online fans the opportunity to engage the artists in real-time. At present no live audiences will be allowed in venue (subject to change based on local Covid-19 conditions and protocols).

The first round of performers appearing on the Country Now Live series on CTRL_MUSIC_ include Brett Young, Lady A, Chris Janson, Jordan Davis, Elle King, Riley Green and Lindsay Ell.

“What a great way to start interacting with fans and performing live again” says Brett Young, the first performing artist in the lineup. “We’re proud to kick this off with our friends at Twitch.”

Also featured exclusively on CTRL_MUSIC_ will be On Time with Bobby Bones, the monthly interview show by iHeartRadio host, TV personality and best-selling author, Bobby Bones. On Time with Bobby Bones will include exclusive interview content, games, interaction with Twitch users, music and much more additional content, all streamed live on the Twitch channel, CTRL_MUSIC_.

“I love playing video games on Twitch and I’m excited to bring my version of a talk show to the platform,” said Bones.  “It will be a mix of interviews, games, interacting with Twitch users, and some other fun surprises.”

"Country artists are storytellers, beloved across generations, whose songs have a way of bringing people together to laugh, to remember, and of course, to have a bit of fun,” said Brian Rucker, Director of Premium Music Content at Twitch. “At Twitch, community is in our DNA, and we are thrilled to partner with Red Light Management in order to welcome even more country artists and their communities to the service with CTRL_MUSIC_. We know these artists, both established and developing, will love the way they can continue to interact with fans on Twitch in real time, and perform live to an audience once again – all from the iconic home of country music: Nashville, Tennessee.”
