Rapsody Hosts Hip Hop Museum Tour Stop in Charlotte

GRAMMY nominated artist Rapsody co-hosted The Hip Hop Museum Tour preview night in partnership with Mass Appeal and sponsored by CÎROC Ultra-Premium Vodka in Charlotte on November 17th.

WHAT: The Hip Hop Museum Tour, in partnership with Mass Appeal and sponsored by CÎROC Ultra-Premium Vodka, stopped in Charlotte this past weekend at Norfolk Hall. The exhibit, curated by Hip Hop Historians Pete Nice and Paradise Gray, features artifacts from Hip Hop’s early years (1973-1990). GRAMMY nominated rapper Rapsody hosted the preview event.

WHY: In celebration of Hip Hop’s 50th birthday, The Hip Hop Museum Tour tells the story of the pioneers who created and cultivated a sound that sent waves around the world. Ahead of the museum’s 2025 opening date, the touring exhibit features early Hip Hop artifacts from 1973-1990, highlighting important firsts along the genre’s road from block parties to stadiums.

The tour will come to a close in Miami on December 9th.
