Publicist and Account Executive Mike Gowen has announced his exit of MSO PR to launch Milestone Publicity which boasts an eclectic roster.
“I’m proud of what I’ve accomplished in my journey so far, and specifically for my clients at MSO, though it was time for career growth,” says Gowen. “The main focus at Milestone will be to deliver well-executed campaigns in the modern music industry while keeping a sharp eye on how the industry continues to evolve so we can fulfill client needs and help them achieve their goals.”
Launching the firm with a decade of experience in the industry, Gowen previously brought his high-energy approach to publicity at The Mitch Schneider Organization (MSO PR) for nearly seven years and worked on campaigns ranging from emerging artists to icons. Specifically, Gowen has worked with established rockers like Aerosmith’s Joe Perry, Billy Idol, Brian Setzer, Dream Theater, Gin Blossoms, Godsmack, Heart, LIVE, Sex Pistols’ Steve Jones, The Magpie Salute, The Sheepdogs, The Smashing Pumpkins, and many others. In the Americana and country lane, Gowen has experience working with Dwight Yoakam, Jerry Douglas, John Fogerty, Tommy Emmanuel and Wynonna Judd, among others. In the EDM and Pop landscape, Gowen has worked on campaigns with artists such as Andy Grammer, Dada Life, Eric Hutchinson, Michael Franti & Spearhead, and STS9.
