Petula Clark at the Saban Theater in Beverly Hills, CA

On November 19, legendary singer, actress and composer Petula Clark, who has been entertaining fans for seven decades, performed at the Saban Theatre. Clark has appeared in over 30 movies and since 1949, has released over 100 singles and more than 40 albums in multiple languages including English, French, Italian and Spanish.

Now 85, Clark still performs full-length shows; she tells amazing stories, moves around the stage throughout the show and performs several songs on piano. Of her 74-year career, which started at age 11, Clark shared some of her favorite memories like acting and singing alongside Fred Astaire in Finian's Rainbow to meeting Elvis Presley. Clark also described recently taking "a bad spill" while getting tea with her daughter in NYC, which left her with a black eye "that not all the makeup in Sephora could cover." However, this didn't affect her performing abilities as she sounded incredible the entire show.

Clark sang many of her hits from "Don't Sleep In The Subway," "Colour My World" to "Downtown." Clark also sang covers of The Beatles' "Black Bird," John Lennon's "Imagine" and Steve Winwood's "While You See A Chance," accompanying each cover song with interesting stories about meeting the artists. Clark has dates scheduled through Dec 26 with stops in Illinois, Florida, Maryland and New York.
