Another year and another great Outside Lands. Once again the festival was filled with a stellar lineup, stellar food and drink options and awesome weather. In addition, they expanded attendees’ experiences with Mini Golf, Wine Lands and Cheese Lands, among others.
As they always do, the lineup this year was a great mix of developing and established acts in a wide variety of genres (like Hip-Hop, EDM and Rock). With headliners including the likes of LCD Soundsystem, J Cole, Radiohead, Zedd, Lionel Riche and Lana Del Rey, fans had entertaining options to enjoy the fest. In result, Outside Lands' varied lineup offered a refreshing and eclectic option to some of the mundane lineups. This year, that included a special set by none other than Dr. Teeth and the Electric Mayhem, in their live and festival debut. If you’re not quite sure who they are, they are the rock band from the Muppets. Yes, that band with Floyd Pepper, Janice and ANIMAL on drums.
All around it was a fun weekend at Outside Lands, and I already can’t wait to see what they cook up for next year's lineup. This festival has definitely become one of my favorites of the year.
