Legendary comedian and TV Show host Bob Newhart came to the Grammy Museum in Los Angeles, CA on Feb. 12 for a Q&A just two days after being a presenter at the 61st Grammy awards. Conducting the interview was the museum’s artistic director Scott Goldman. This year Newhart celebrates 60 years since the release of his first comedy album, The Button-Down Mind of Bob Newhart. The album earned Newhart three Grammys in 1961 for Best New Artist, Album of the Year, and Best Comedy Performance (Spoken Word). He has also won an Emmy, a Golden Globe and is a recipient of the Mark Twain Prize for American Humor. Newhart went into acting in the 1970's starring in the highly successful TV shows, The Bob Newhart Show and later, Newhart. He has since had a number of small supporting roles and cameos in film and television.
