Tracks like “Forbidden Fruit” kick off with an antique, dusty charm before charging full steam ahead. But “(Not) Easy to Love” is the real find here: more composed on paper, yet it’s where Biilmann finally lets the vocal off the leash.
More of that, please—the restraint elsewhere is good; the unraveling is better.
