The fifth annual KAABOO festival took place in Del Mar, CA once again at the Del Mar Fairgrounds on September 13th to the 15th. This year's headliners were Kings of Leon (Friday), Mumford & Sons (Sunday), Black Eyed Peas (Saturday), Dave Matthews Band (Saturday), and Duran Duran (Sunday). KAABOO had many highlights including Cash Cash throwing dollar bills in the crowd, Dave Matthews Band covering The Bee Gees, AC/DC and Steve Miller. Bob Saget even came over from the Humor Me Stage to guest with The Revivalists.
Friday consisted of REO Speedwagon, Maren Morris, Plain White T’s, Snoop Dogg and The Wu-Tang Clan, and The Cult. Saturday’s top acts included Bryan Adams, OneRepublic, Sublime with Rome, and Squeeze. KAABOO came to a close with The Bangles, Sheryl Crow, Toots & The Maytals, and Colbie Callait.
KAABOO 2020 will take place at Petco Park, the home of the San Diego Padres.
