On February 11th, music icon, Jose Feliciano discussed his fifty-year career with Grammy Museum Artistic Director, Scott Goldman, as part of the museum’s “In Conversation With” series. Felicano is a Latin Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award recipient, Latin Songwriters Hall of Fame inductee, and was inducted into the International Latin Music Hall of Fame. Feliciano shared the story behind his best selling Christmas single “Feliz Navidad,” which started with his label asking for a Christmas song and he was reluctant at first due to the amount of great Christmas songs already released. “Feliz Navidad” has remained one of the most popular Christmas songs for almost 50 years. November 2020 will be the song’s fifth anniversary.
