Join the Global PRS Community: Pulse Artist Program 2027 Applications Open

There’s no shortage of guitarists with something to say—but finding the right platform to amplify that voice is another story. That’s where the PRS Pulse Artist Program continues to make its mark. PRS Guitars has officially opened applications for its Class of 2027, inviting rising players around the world to step into a community that’s as collaborative as it is career-boosting.

Now entering its seventh year, the Pulse Artist Program has steadily evolved from a simple endorsement initiative into something far more interconnected. The most recent class—2026—grew nearly six percent from the year prior, boasting 145 artists across 30 countries. It’s a snapshot of just how wide the net has been cast, capturing players from a range of genres, scenes, and skillsets.

At its core, the program is designed to spotlight up-and-coming guitarists while strengthening their ties to local dealers and the broader PRS ecosystem. Selected artists gain access to exclusive discounts on PRS guitars, amps, and accessories through authorized dealers, along with a membership kit stocked with essentials like strings, picks, and cables. But the real currency here is visibility—Pulse Artists are featured through editorial content on PRS platforms and social channels, giving their work a meaningful stage.

As Bev Fowler, Director of Artist & Community Relations at PRS, puts it: "The PRS Pulse Artist Program has become much more than an artist program—it is a global community of passionate musicians who inspire one another through their creativity, collaboration, and dedication to their craft." It’s that sense of community that appears to set the initiative apart, with artists not just benefiting individually, but actively supporting one another along the way. "Each year, we're excited to welcome a new class of talented artists and provide them with opportunities to grow their careers while building lasting relationships within the PRS family," continues Fowler.

The program also offers a tangible pathway forward. In 2026, five Pulse Artists from the previous class were elevated to Official Artist status—an endorsement tier that signals a deeper relationship with the brand. It’s a reminder that while the program celebrates emerging talent, it also rewards momentum.

For guitarists looking to get involved, the process remains rooted in PRS’s dealer network. Applications for the Class of 2027 are open now through August 31, 2026, and must be submitted via an authorized PRS dealer or distributor. Submissions will be reviewed directly by the company’s Artist Relations team, with the final class announcement slated for November 3, 2026. Those selected will officially hold their Pulse Artist status throughout the 2027 calendar year.

In a landscape where exposure can be fleeting and opportunities fragmented, PRS’s Pulse Artist Program offers something a bit more grounded: a chance to grow within a network that values both craft and connection. For the next wave of guitarists, that might be the real headline.
