ISAMRA signs Agreement with SoundExchange and the AFM & SAG-AFTRA Fund

News from AFM & SAG-AFTRA on Tuesday revealed that, "ISAMRA (Indian Singers And Musicians Rights Association) has signed a multi-lateral agreement with SoundExchange and the AFM & SAG-AFTRA Intellectual Property Rights Distribution Fund (The FUND) to ensure that performers get the royalties they deserve when their music is played across India & USA."

"ISAMRA works to protect and promote the rights of singers across India’s vast and diverse music culture, shaped by hundreds of languages and deep musical traditions. As the industry expands beyond Bollywood into regional genres, indie pop, and growing hip hop scenes, ISAMRA ensures performers are fairly recognized and receive the royalties they are owed."
