Israeli DJ and producer Kino Todo started on his music path around the age of 15.
"[I was] producing on Logic and DJing on my first setup, two Pioneer CDJ 100s and a Behringer mixer," he says. "At first I played friends’ parties, birthdays and local events, then moved on to bars and clubs. It took almost a decade before I started playing serious gigs regularly, and that long journey really shaped my sound and approach."
The artist describes his sound as, "Groove-driven club music with a strong rhythmic focus. I like my tracks to feel physical and energetic, but still detailed and emotional enough to hold a dancefloor for a long time. The music is designed for late night rooms and big systems."
Kino Todo's latest release is ICON.
"ICON is a high energy, rave influenced collaboration with Marko East," he says. "It is built to work equally well in clubs and on festival stages, very direct, powerful and fully focused on the dancefloor. It is one of my favorite tracks to play out and the reactions have been amazing."
As for gear: "In the studio I work mainly in Logic and I am very much in the box and digital. What really inspires me in the studio is working with people, especially vocalists. That human element is what pushes the music forward for me."
Looking ahead, Kino Todo has plenty planned for 2026.
"Upcoming projects include a collaboration with DJ Tennis, a remix for Adam Ten and Mita Gami, and a collaboration with the singer Karolina," he says. "This is just a small part of what is coming in 2026."
