Guitarist Jasmine Star, 17, Named 'Distinguished Artist'

With millions of views on TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube, 17-year-old guitar phenomenon Jasmine Star, an alumna of Orange County Music and Dance school, has just been named as an OCMD ‘Distinguished Artist’, the non-profit school’s highest honor.

Already rocking the music world, Star was also recently selected one of five top finalists for Guitar World’s influential “Young Guitarist of the Year” 2020 contest and can currently be seen online in a weekly studio series for KLOS radio (95.5 FM), Jasmine Jamson the classic rock station’s website, 955klos.com. Recently,  Jasmine dropped her new song, “The Cliff,” on KLOS on “New Music Friday” with Heidi and Frank, then interviewed on the Marci Wiser Show, and then did two hours live with Kevin and Sluggo on the station.
