Guitar retail giant the Guitar Center has joined forces with premium acoustic guitar company Taylor to launch the Sunset Blvd Collection.
"Inspired by the iconic Retailer’s flagship store on Sunset Boulevard in Hollywood, CA, the collection honors Guitar Center’s legacy of 60-plus years at the heart of the Los Angeles music scene," a statement reads. "From hosting legendary artists to serving as a destination for musicians from around the world, the Sunset Boulevard store is a true symbol of musical creativity and expression. This exclusive collection channels that energy into three unique Taylor guitars, each crafted to inspire players of all levels. Blending Taylor’s renowned craftsmanship with aesthetic touches that reflect the glamour and legacy of Sunset Boulevard, these guitars offer the perfect balance of style, tone, and playability."

The Sunset Blvd 414ce Studio delivers a high-performance playing experience with premium tonewoods and refined aesthetics. This cutaway Grand Auditorium model pairs solid Indian rosewood back and sides with a torrefied Sitka spruce top, delivering a rich, articulate voice with enhanced warmth and responsiveness thanks to Taylor’s V-Class bracing. The torrefied soundboard provides a more seasoned, played-in tone from the start, while the rosewood’s lush low-end and sparkling top-end clarity make this guitar incredibly versatile. Visually, the guitar features a full-gloss body finish with a stunning Sunset Edgeburst top, chamfered body edges, a three-ring rosette with black and white purfling, Italian acrylic diamond inlays, and gold Taylor tuning machines. Taylor’s Cantilevered V-Class bracing enhances projection and sustain, while the Grand Auditorium body shape delivers versatility across styles. A Sunset Edgeburst top, white binding, and full-gloss finish highlight its refined aesthetic. Outfitted with Taylor’s ES2 electronics and housed in a deluxe brown hardshell case, it’s built for stage and studio.
Sunset Blvd GS Mini-e Rosewood
Taylor’s best-selling GS Mini gets a Sunset Blvd upgrade with a torrefied Sitka spruce top, layered Indian rosewood back and sides, and exclusive aesthetic details like a Sunset Edgeburst finish and gold tuners. Compact, comfortable, and stage-ready with Taylor’s ES-B electronics and built-in tuner, this model is perfect for players on the go.
