"Music and fashion have always fueled each other, and this collaboration is Gibson's way of celebrating that connection," says Jenny Marsh, Global Director of Cultural Influence and Artist Programs at Gibson.

"During NY Fashion Week, fans and Marc Jacobs himself brought the JOY capsule collection to life with a launch party at The Corner at Nordstrom NYC. The crowd of fashion and art insiders including Whoopi Goldberg, Derrick Adams, June Ambrose, Abi Hoffman, and more enjoyed a special live music performance from Gibson Spotlight Artist Los Angeles-based alt pop singer-songwriter Devon Thompson, who released her new single “Wishing” this week, watch/listen HERE, and view photos from the Marc Jacobs NYFW event HERE."
"Getting to perform with two of the most iconic brands in history, Gibson and Marc Jacobs for NYFW was nothing short of life changing--I thrived,” says Gibson artist Devon Thompson. “Fashion is music, and music is fashion. They’re nothing without each other, and I am nothing without them. I know in the future I will be doing a lot more work in the fashion industry when it comes to Gibson and my music."
"Now through October 5 at The Corner at Nordstrom NYC (1776 Broadway, corner of 57th and Broadway), fashion and music fans can visit the immersive pop-up experience of the Marc Jacobs JOY collection for this limited edition capsule that explores the intersection of art and fashion through visual storytelling expressive design. "Expect additional global events to be announced in select Marc Jacobs boutiques worldwide, and more exclusive gallery-inspired pop-ups at Nordstrom NYC, Galeries Lafayette in Paris, Isetan in Tokyo, The Standard High Line in New York, as well as events in London and Art Basel in Miami. This next phase of the campaign underscores a core Marc Jacobs belief: the future of fashion lies not in following trends, but in creating cultural moments."
"Fall 2025 marks a season defined by vibrant, unapologetic JOY at Marc Jacobs. The brand has unveiled the next chapter in this bold and expansive creative initiative: a limited-edition capsule collection that explores the intersection of art and fashion through visual storytelling and expressive design. This launch continues the season-long celebration of JOY brought to life through cultural partnerships and immersive experiences."
"Created by Marc Jacobs in collaboration with renowned artists David Shrigley, Derrick Adams, and Hattie Stewart, the limited-edition capsule collection reflects their own visual language to shape a collection that blurs the boundaries between art and fashion. Known for culture-defining creative collaborations that extend beyond fashion, Marc Jacobs has spent the past year developing this collection with these three distinctive voices in contemporary art."
"The result is a vivid expression of joy, translated into ready-to-wear, accessories, and signature bags. Stewart's pop-surrealist florals and characters offer a psychedelic burst of optimism, Shrigley's satirical wit channels the absurdity that sparks laughter and lightness; and Adams' vibrant geometries celebrate color, rhythm, and play. Together, their work transforms the collection into a wearable gallery of creativity's most uplifting emotion: joy. Each piece is a celebration of self-expression and a reminder that joy is meant to be worn."
"Marc Jacobs invited a circle of like-minded partners to interpret the JOY campaign through their own iconic products. From customized Gibson Les Paul™ guitars, straps and picks to Converse sneakers, and SHUT skateboards to Brompton bikes, vibrant Moleskine journals, collectible box sets of premium Crayola adult creative tools, luxe pet accessories from maxbone, and two Barbie dolls wearing one-of-a-kind miniaturized styles from the collection – each item becomes a joyful canvas for this artistic collaboration. A multi-sensory journey, the JOY campaign was shot by Nick Newbold and styled by Stella Greenspan."
