Get Free Studio Time in Los Angeles

Converse Rubber Tracks Pop-up studios returns to Los Angeles in May. From Monday, May 9, through Friday, May 13, musicians of all genres in the Los Angeles area will have the opportunity to unleash their creative spirit and apply for free studio time. The Converse Rubber Tracks Pop-up Studio will take place at The Fortress in downtown L.A. Musicians will be able to record their original music alongside the Converse Rubber Tracks team of experienced engineers at no cost. At the end of their studio time, the artists retain all of the rights to their own music. Converse Rubber Tracks will select up to five local artists to record over the five-day period.

In addition, Converse Rubber Tracks will also be hosting an in-store performance from local artists who have previously recorded at the pop-up studio in Los Angeles. The performances will take place at Amoeba Records in Hollywood on May 12 with alternative soul artist Arima Ederra and Hip-Hop artist AJ Crew.

The submission period for artists to apply for free studio time is currently open now to all emerging local musicians.
