According to a colorful press release that dropped this week, Dirty Boy Pedals believes in time travel. They also want their customers to believe, so they've unleashed a range of N.O.S. replicas.
"Imagine renting a DeLorean and going back to 1995," they say. "Imagine convincing Alex Saraceno to build you a Germanium Boy… or an Afro Fuzz. Now stop imagining."
Intriguing, huh?
The specs, provided by the company, are as follows:
A multi-frequency booster with a 12-position frequency selector and gain function. This pedal lets you dial in specific frequencies to match your guitar and amp setup.
A hybrid fuzz based loosely on the classic Fuzz Face, with a 6-position frequency selector. Vintage Germanium transistor for warm clipping, followed by a high-HFE silicon transistor for power.
This one's all about fizz—tight, defined, and punchy. Not thin. Just... precise.
Controls: Sustain, Balance (can act as a volume), Timbre (aka tone), 3-band frequency selector (low, mid, high). From subtle sparkle to roaring monster.
In short: The absolute perfect booster conceived to drive the front end of your old "one trick pony" amp and give you a whole new array of amazing and usable guitar tones.
